Since graduating she has found a passion for treating underlying medical issues related to venous insufficiency. Jesus is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-focused care, helping patients improve their circulatory health and overall well-being.

Born in Manhattan and raised in Lexington Park, Dr. Fernando Cruz’s passion for football during high school steered him toward a career in Sports Medicine. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine and Health Science from Guilford College, Greensboro, NC. His academic journey continued at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, where he was honored as the “Student of the Year” in his final year.
Dr. Cruz further specialized by completing a Reconstructive Foot and Ankle surgical residency at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, OH. Afterward, he joined the esteemed Family Foot & Ankle Centers, serving in Waxahachie, Ennis, and Corsicana. He is also affiliated with Navarro Regional Hospital, Ennis Regional Hospital, and Parkview Regional Hospital.
Board-Qualified by the American Boards of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Cruz is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. When not practicing medicine, he enjoys sports, particularly football, being an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He cherishes spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their dog, Theo, and loves catching up on the latest movies.
